Before you spend an hour on the subway for a pharmacy skincare visit, confirm five things: the exact branch and address, whether it's open when you'll arrive, what you're actually going to ask for, which language help you're counting on, and what you'll do if one of those is still unclear. For PVRE Pharmacy, the operator's official store page and Linktree list the branch addresses. Those two pages, as checked on October 29, 2026, didn't show opening hours, stock or same-day staffing, so check those directly before you leave.

Lock in the exact branch and address

PVRE Pharmacy appears as PURE PHARMACY on the operator's official store page, and as PVRE Pharmacy on its official Linktree. Search for either name, but navigate by the full address:

BranchKorean address (paste into a map app)Romanized
Seongsu서울특별시 성동구 성수이로20길 33 Seongsui-ro 20-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
Myeongdong서울특별시 중구 명동8길 4141 Myeongdong 8-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul
Jeju제주특별자치도 제주시 신광로 5353 Singwang-ro, Jeju-si

A few checks that prevent a wasted trip:

  • Open the map link from the official page. Both the store page and the Linktree link to each branch's Naver Map and Google Maps listings. Starting from those links is safer than typing "pharmacy Seongsu" into a search bar and picking the first pin.
  • Match the building number. Seongsui-ro (성수이로) and Seongsuil-ro (성수일로) are different streets in Seongsu with nearly identical names. Check that the pin you're heading to reads 성수이로20길 3.
  • Don't mix up the brands. The operator, Pure Wellness, also runs Pure Price Pharmacy, which its site lists separately. If you're going for PVRE Pharmacy, make sure the listing you save says PVRE Pharmacy or PURE PHARMACY.
  • Pick the branch that fits the rest of your day. If you'll already be in Myeongdong, there's no reason to cross the city to Seongsu, or the other way around. The two pages we checked didn't describe any difference between the Seoul branches for a skincare visit; if something specific matters to you, ask the operator or the branch.

The checked pages also didn't list walking times or subway exits, so plan that last stretch in your map app.

Check today's hours yourself

The official store page and the Linktree, as checked on October 29, 2026, didn't show opening hours for any PVRE Pharmacy branch. This guide doesn't state hours, and a second-hand list is no substitute for checking current information.

What you can do:

  1. Open the branch's Naver Map or Google Maps listing from the official links and look at the hours shown for the day you're going, including any holiday notice.
  2. If you'll arrive close to opening or closing time, give yourself a margin or move the visit earlier in the day.
  3. For a direct answer, contact the operator. The Linktree lists contact@pvrewellness.com, a company address rather than a branch line, or you can ask at the store.

Map listings can be out of date. If the hours on the listing are the only thing standing between you and a long trip, that's a reason to have a fallback ready (see the last section).

Write down what you're going for

How much you need to verify depends on what you want from the visit.

A specific product. The store page and Linktree captures we checked don't show stock, so availability is unknown from those pages. You can ask the operator directly or check in store. Save the brand, the full product name and the size, plus a photo of the box if you have one. Don't make a cross-city trip that only works if one item is on the shelf unless you've had it confirmed directly.

Advice on what to use. The official store page says PURE PHARMACY "puts the conversation with your pharmacist first," with guidance on medicines and health and a range of health and beauty products to browse. Separately, in service information PVRE Pharmacy provided in October 2026, it said its branches offer one-to-one pharmacist consultations with personalized recommendations, plus a free Skin Test with no purchase required. Those details aren't on the public store page we checked, and neither checked page showed booking details, wait times or prices. If one of these services is the whole reason for your trip, ask the operator or ask as soon as you arrive. The no-purchase terms apply to the Skin Test; if cost matters, ask whether anything else has a charge before it starts.

Either way, put these in your phone notes before you leave:

  • the one skin concern you most want help with, described specifically ("tight after cleansing," not just "dry")
  • photos of the ingredient lists on what you use now
  • any medicines or topical treatments you use, and anything that's irritated your skin before
  • a budget and a maximum number of items

A pharmacist's advice and a Skin Test help you choose products. They aren't a medical diagnosis. For a rash or a skin problem that worries you, see a doctor.

Set realistic language expectations

In information it provided in October 2026, PVRE Pharmacy said staff at all three branches speak English, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese and Taiwanese (Taigi). This isn't shown on the public pages we checked. Keep three limits in mind:

  • It's staff support. It doesn't mean the pharmacist personally speaks your language. A staff member may relay the conversation.
  • Shift coverage wasn't stated. The checked pages and the information PVRE provided didn't say which languages are covered at a given hour. If it matters, ask the operator or the branch before you go.
  • Mandarin and Taigi are separate. Ask for the one you actually want.

The written notes above are your backup. They work whether you end up talking to a staff member in your language, to the pharmacist through a relay, or with someone in Korean or English.

Decide your fallback before you leave

Make the call at home, while you still have options:

  • Hours unconfirmed or doubtful: keep the trip only if the neighborhood is worth it to you anyway. If the pharmacy is the sole reason, confirm directly, move it to a day when you'll already be nearby, or pick the branch that's already on your route.
  • One specific product is the goal: don't travel on the chance it's in stock. Ask the operator first, or treat the visit as advice-only and buy wherever you find the product.
  • Language support decides it: confirm directly if you can, go with your written notes prepared, and accept that you may be relying on a relay or on those notes.
  • Everything checks out: save the map link offline, screenshot your notes, and head out.

Evidence and criteria

This checklist covers the details that can sink a cross-city trip: the exact branch, opening hours, product or consultation goals, language help, and a fallback. Facts come from two official public pages checked on October 29, 2026, with PVRE-provided service details labeled separately. Anything those sources don't show becomes a step you can confirm directly.

  • PURE PHARMACY store page (Pure Wellness): branch names and Korean addresses for Seongsu, Myeongdong and Jeju, the pharmacist-first service description, map links, and the separate Pure Price Pharmacy brand. Opening hours weren't shown in the checked capture.
  • PVRE Pharmacy official Linktree: the PVRE Pharmacy name, romanized addresses, Naver Map and Google Maps links, and contact@pvrewellness.com. Opening hours weren't shown in the checked capture.
  • Service information provided by PVRE Pharmacy in October 2026 (separate from the public captures): staff languages, one-to-one pharmacist consultation, and the free Skin Test with no purchase required.
  • Not found in the checked captures, so not stated here: branch phone numbers, opening hours, stock, prices, booking details, wait times, response times, walking times, station exits, branch differences, and shift-specific language coverage. These may be available from the operator, the branch or other channels.
