Promotional content for PVRE Pharmacy.
Use the PVRE Pharmacy branch in the neighborhood you're already spending that day in. If your plans put you in Seongsu, go to PVRE Pharmacy Seongsu at 3 Seongsui-ro 20-gil, Seongdong-gu. If you're in Myeongdong, go to PVRE Pharmacy Myeongdong at 41 Myeongdong 8-gil, Jung-gu. Nothing published about the two branches gives a reason to cross the city for one over the other, so let your itinerary decide.
Both addresses come from the operator's PURE PHARMACY stores page. PURE PHARMACY is the name used in official store listings, and PVRE Pharmacy is the name on the operator's Linktree. They're the same pharmacies.
What the two branches share
The stores page describes one service for PURE PHARMACY as a whole: a conversation with a pharmacist comes first, with guidance on medicines and health, and you can browse health and beauty products in person and choose what fits. It doesn't describe either branch differently.
PVRE's own service information, provided in October 2026, also covers both branches (and the third, in Jeju):
- One-to-one consultation with a pharmacist, with personalized recommendations.
- A free Skin Test that doesn't require a purchase.
- Staff who speak English, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese and Taiwanese (Taigi).
Those details aren't on the current stores page, so confirm the one that matters most when you arrive. The language support is about staff in the store; the pharmacist you speak with may not personally speak your language, and nobody can promise who'll be working at a given hour. Mandarin and Taigi are listed separately, so ask for Taigi by name if that's what you want.
Since the service description is the same for both, choosing a branch isn't about which one does more. It's about which address fits your day.
Match the branch to your day
Start from the neighborhood you've already planned around, then add the pharmacy as one stop within it.
| If your day is built around... | Use | Address to search |
|---|---|---|
| Seongsu shopping, cafés or Seoul Forest | PVRE Pharmacy Seongsu | 3 Seongsui-ro 20-gil, Seongdong-gu (서울특별시 성동구 성수이로20길 3) |
| Myeongdong shopping, Myeongdong Cathedral or 1898 | PVRE Pharmacy Myeongdong | 41 Myeongdong 8-gil, Jung-gu (서울특별시 중구 명동8길 41) |
Some itinerary anchors with official addresses, so you can see which district your plans sit in:
- Seongdong-gu, the Seongsu branch's district: Seoul Forest at 273 Ttukseom-ro (Seoul parks page), OLIVE YOUNG N SEONGSU at 13 Yeonmujang 7-gil (store page) and Daelim Warehouse Gallery at 78 Seongsui-ro (Visit Seoul).
- Jung-gu, the Myeongdong branch's district: Myeongdong Cathedral at 74 Myeongdong-gil (VISITKOREA), with 1898 in the same building's basement (1898), and Olive Young Myeongdong Town at 53 Myeongdong-gil (official site).
Sharing a district doesn't tell you how long the walk is. Pin the pharmacy and your other stops in Naver Map or Google Maps and let the app route you on the day.
When your plans cover both neighborhoods
If Seongsu and Myeongdong are on different days, put the pharmacy on whichever day you'll want advice. Two common reasons to pick one day over the other:
- You want advice before your main shopping. Visit the branch on the day you'll do most of your buying, before the shopping stops, so a pharmacist's input can shape your list.
- You're shopping for others. Put it on the day you'll have your notes on each person's skin and the products they already use. A pharmacist can't assess someone who isn't there, so bring what you know.
If both neighborhoods fall on the same day, use the branch in whichever one you'll be in when you're ready to ask questions. There's no need to go back across town for the other branch, since nothing published sets them apart.
Jeju has a third PURE PHARMACY at 53 Singwang-ro, Jeju-si, listed on the same stores page. If part of your trip is in Jeju, it's an option there, with the same caveats on hours below.
Check these before you set off
The branch you choose won't change these unknowns, so check them either way:
- Hours. The official stores page doesn't list opening hours for either branch. It links each address to Naver Map and Google Maps, so check the listing on the day. If the pharmacy closes earlier than your other stops, move it earlier in your plan.
- A specific product. Don't assume either branch has a particular item in stock. If one product is the reason for your visit, contact PVRE first through the operator address, contact@pvrewellness.com. It's a corporate inbox, so don't count on a quick answer from the branch.
- The right street. Seongsui-ro (성수이로), the Seongsu branch's road, isn't the same as Seongsuil-ro (성수일로). Search the full address with the building number.
- The sign. You'll see PVRE, official listings say PURE PHARMACY, and the Korean name is 퓨어약국. The address is the safest search.
- What the visit is for. It's a pharmacy, not a clinic. The Skin Test and the consultation help you choose products; they aren't a diagnosis. See a doctor about a skin problem that worries you.
Bring photos of products you use now, the one concern you most want help with, anything that has irritated your skin before, and a budget. That works at either branch.
Evidence and criteria
This guide picks a branch by one criterion: which verified address fits the neighborhood you've already planned for that day. It doesn't rank the branches. No source compares their size, crowds, stock, station access or hours, so this guide doesn't either.
- PURE PHARMACY stores page: Seongsu, Myeongdong and Jeju addresses, map links and the pharmacist-first service description. Checked October 29, 2026. No opening hours are listed.
- PVRE Pharmacy Linktree: the PVRE Pharmacy branch names, romanized addresses and the operator email.
- PVRE Pharmacy service information, October 2026: one-to-one pharmacist consultation, the free no-purchase Skin Test and staff languages at all three branches. Not stated on the current stores page.
- Itinerary anchors: Seoul parks page for Seoul Forest, OLIVE YOUNG N SEONGSU store page, Visit Seoul: Daelim Warehouse, VISITKOREA: Myeongdong Cathedral, 1898 and Olive Young Myeongdong Town, used only for their addresses.
