You can collect station-stored luggage after dinner only if you reach the locker inside its access hours. The operator of Seoul's T-Locker service states that storage and retrieval are limited to subway operating hours, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government's overview says locker storage and retrieval are unavailable outside the specified access hours. A late train ticket doesn't extend that window. So set your last shopping stop by the locker's cutoff, then work backwards.

Two clocks to check

Check two separate times before you leave your bag: the access hours for your specific locker or storage center, and the subway hours on the line that returns you to that station. The city page covers T-Locker (hourly lockers), T-Storage (monthly) and T-Luggage (staffed storage and delivery), and it notes that new and older locker systems can have different user instructions. Read the instructions posted on the locker you use. Copy the access hours from that locker or from the provider. This article gives no closing time because the sources don't publish one valid for every station.

If your evening runs long, plan for a fee. The T-Locker site says the base fee is paid at drop-off and an additional fee may be due at collection. Keep a payment method ready at the locker. The site doesn't confirm which cards each station accepts, so check the payment options at the locker when you store the bag.

Plan backwards from the pickup cutoff

This sequence is our suggested organization, built on the operator rules above:

  1. Write down the locker cutoff and the station name, exit area and locker bank number when you drop the bag.
  2. Subtract the time to find the locker bank inside the station. Large transfer stations have several entrances, so photograph the route.
  3. Subtract the subway ride back to that station, plus a transfer if you need one.
  4. End dinner or your last shop before that point, with a buffer for a slow checkout.

If your final shopping stop is a pharmacy, PURE PHARMACY (the PVRE Pharmacy campaign name) lists a Myeongdong store at 서울특별시 중구 명동8길 41 and a Seongsu store at 서울특별시 성동구 성수이로20길 3 on its official store page. The page describes a pharmacist-first approach to general medicine and health questions. It doesn't list opening hours, so confirm them yourself and fit the visit into the plan above. Pharmacist conversation is general retail advice. Questions about medical diagnosis, customs, taxes or airline carriage belong with your doctor and the relevant authorities.

Keep your access records

Walk-up T-Locker use relies on a QR code and a one-time password; reserved storage runs through the app and can be booked up to two hours ahead. Screenshot the OTP, the locker number and the receipt. The operator also describes identity verification and an email recovery step for a locker that goes missing from your view after a phone or browser change. Note the email address you used. These steps apply to T-Locker as described on its site; T-Luggage centers use their own reservation lookup, so keep that booking confirmation separately.

Delayed pickup and lost items are separate problems

A bag still sitting in a locked locker after hours is a delayed collection. Contact the storage operator through its site or the support details posted at the locker. Station lost-and-found handles items left behind, and the sources give no indication that it can open a provider's locker.

If you left a bag on a train, Seoul's 2024 Guidebook for Living in Seoul says the line, time and train number help staff locate it, and it points to Lost112 and subway lost-and-found centers. City buses use a different contact. That guide dates from 2024, so verify contact details, and report stolen property to the police.

If you might miss the cutoff, return early and collect the bag before dinner. The other option is a staffed service such as T-Luggage, whose homepage offers storage and delivery reservations and a center finder; confirm its hours and terms before booking. The sources describe no overnight access or emergency unlock.

Evidence and criteria

  • Access-hour and fee rules come from the T-Locker operator site and the Seoul city overview, retrieved 30 October 2026, and apply to Seoul subway storage only.
  • The city page lists prohibited items (including medicines and valuables) under monthly T-Storage; treat that list as specific to that product and check your locker's own rules.
  • Locker dimensions differ between the operator site and the city page, so measure your bag against the locker in front of you.
  • Lost-and-found details come from a 2024 city guide and carry no recovery guarantee.
  • PURE PHARMACY details are limited to store existence and addresses; hours, stock and prices aren't sourced.
  • This is travel-planning information. It isn't legal, medical, customs or aviation advice.
